Introduction

The usage of SWARO LINE improves guidance in tunnels, on roads and in the outside and inside areas of industrial facilities. This visual guidance product consists of light-emitting modules installed along the pathway; and one or more associated control units to control and to monitor these light-emitting modules and to connect this system to the tunnel operation center. The light-emitting modules are linked to the control units either via a cable connection (wired) or by an inductive coupling. The control unit controls the brightness of the LEDs and the operational mode, e.g. flashing or running light.

For tunnel lengths up to 2,000 m, the iXP system comes packaged with unprecedented performance, allowing extreme module and outstanding functionality, because of the decentralized low power inductive generators of the SWARO LINE ILP and iXP systems electromagnetic interactions to other systems installed in the tunnel, e.g. car-countingor fire detection systems are avoided.

For each of the 5 SWARO LINE product designs, suitable control units are offered. Depending on the control unit selected, the following functions are available:

  • Integration into tunnel control and monitoring systems
  • Control via potential-free contacts (e. g. PLC)
  • Status reports from the entire module line
  • High module brightness
  • Power supply and control for tunnel - length up to 2,000 m per system
  • Brightness control in 8 levels
  • Flashing mode controlled by synchronization pulse generator (including two brightness levels)
